“Popoma” is a Shona (the official language of Zimbabwe) word meaning waterfall. Zimbabwean born Peter NN Moyo, founded Popoma Travel with a relentless goal to make Africa’s true beauty known to the world. The word Popoma not only represents Victoria Falls (the world’s greatest sheet of falling water and one of the seven natural wonders of the world), but Peter feels it also represents purity within. Living in the United States of America he noticed the travesty of how Africa is often depicted—which has led many to see Africa only through her poverty. Through his invaluable knowledge, he aims to teach as many people as he can about Africa through travel. People cannot fully understand unless they experience Africa themselves first-hand. Popoma offers reliable and competitive professional vacation services, study abroad and luxury travel.
